We are excited to announce the artists who have confirmed their participation for the first two years of the NSCAD Litho Workshop: Contemporary Editions. First Nations artist Sonny Assu from B.C.; Kenyan-born Canadian artist Brendan Fernandes, based in New York / Chicago; Métis artist Amy Malbeuf from Rich Lake, AB; Taiwan-born Ed Pien from Toronto, ON; Derek Sullivan, also Toronto-based; NSCAD Professor Ericka Walker, from the American Midwest; and Shuvinai Ashoona from Cape Dorset, Nunavut in collaboration with the famed Kinngait Studios. Shary Boyle will also participate in a collaborative print in 2018.
Brendan Fernandes is the first artist to participate in the project. He will be in residence June 19 – 23rd, 2017. The remaining schedule will be announced as the artists confirm their dates.
